Schizoid is a 1980 slasher film directed by David Paulsen. The film follows Dr. Peter Fales, a successful psychiatrist who runs a therapy group consisting of six troubled patients. When members of the group start turning up dead and mutilated, Fales becomes the prime suspect. His daughter Alison, who also attends the therapy group, comes under suspicion as well.
As the killings continue, Fales begins to unravel and his relationships with his patients become increasingly twisted. Meanwhile, Julie, a popular advice columnist who attends the group, receives threatening letters from an unknown sender and begins to suspect her estranged husband.
As the bodies pile up, the investigation intensifies and the film builds to a bloody and shocking conclusion. Schizoid is known for its graphic violence and psychological terror, and has become a cult classic among horror fans.
