In the movie Scared Shrekless, Shrek and his friends decide to celebrate Halloween in a unique way - by challenging themselves to stay overnight at Lord Farquaad's haunted castle. They tell scary stories to try and scare each other, but as the night goes on, spooky things start happening in the castle.
Donkey tells the story of the three little pigs, but it turns out that the big bad wolf is actually hiding in the castle and terrorizing them. Puss in Boots tells a tale about a haunted suit of armor, but soon finds himself face-to-face with the actual ghost of the suit's former owner.
Shrek tells the final story, which is about a scary pumpkin that comes to life and terrorizes the villagers. However, it soon becomes apparent that the pumpkin is not just a story - it's actually in the castle with them, and it's determined to scare them all out of their wits.
Throughout the night, the group experiences a number of spooky and humorous adventures, culminating in a terrifying encounter with the pumpkin. In the end, however, they manage to overcome their fears and emerge from the castle unscathed - ready to face whatever other challenges come their way.
