Scarecrows is a 1988 horror film directed by William Wesley. The film starts with five former Navy SEALs, led by the ruthless Captain Saxon, stealing a large sum of money from the Camp Pendleton payroll. Along the way, they kidnap a pilot named Bert and his daughter, Maria, to fly them to Mexico where they plan to retire to.
However, one of the thieves double-crosses the rest, taking the money and parachuting into an abandoned graveyard surrounded by creepy scarecrows. The other four follow him to retrieve the cash, but soon realize they've stumbled into a supernatural trap. As the night progresses, the scarecrows come to life, revealing themselves to be demonic entities who are guarding the stolen money.
