Say It Isn't So is a 2001 romantic comedy film directed by James B. Rogers. It stars Chris Klein as Gilly Noble, a young man who falls in love with Jo Wingfield (Heather Graham), a hairdresser who has just moved to town. The two quickly become inseparable and begin a passionate love affair.
However, things take a dramatic turn when Gilly and Jo visit the local orphanage to find out more about Gilly's birth parents. To their horror, they discover that they were siblings separated at birth. Devastated, Gilly breaks off the relationship and Jo moves away.
Years later, Gilly is still struggling to come to terms with his loss when he hears that Jo is getting married to a wealthy man named Jack (played by Orlando Jones). Realizing that Jo is making a huge mistake, Gilly sets out to stop the wedding and win her back.
Along the way, Gilly encounters a series of zany characters, including a one-legged arsonist and a group of car thieves, who all inadvertently help him on his quest. Eventually, Gilly manages to convince Jo that they are not related and they are reunited in a touching finale.
Say It Isn't So received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising its offbeat humor and others criticizing its off-color jokes. However, it has since become a cult classic among fans of quirky romantic comedies.
