Saw: The Final Chapter, also known as Saw 3D, is the seventh installment in the Saw franchise, and was released in 2010. The film follows Bobby Dagen, a self-help guru who claims to be a survivor of Jigsaw's deadly traps. After writing a book about his experience, he becomes a media sensation and a beacon of hope for other survivors. However, as he prepares to go on a promotional tour, he is abducted by Jigsaw's accomplices and forced to play a deadly game of his own.
Meanwhile, a group of Jigsaw survivors led by the character of Dr. Gordon, who initially appeared in the first film, seek Bobby's help and seek to confront the legacy of Jigsaw once and for all. As they delve deeper into Bobby's past, they discover a web of lies and deceit that threatens to tear them apart.
The film features a number of gruesome and intricate traps, as well as callbacks to previous films in the series. It also features the return of fan-favorite characters including Tobin Bell's Jigsaw and Cary Elwes' Dr. Gordon.
Saw: The Final Chapter was marketed as the definitive conclusion to the Saw franchise, although a reboot of the series was released in 2017. Despite mixed reviews from critics, the film was a box office success and grossed over $136 million worldwide.
