In Saving Shiloh, the third installment of the Shiloh film series, Marty Preston (Jason Dolley) sets out to prove the innocence of Judd Travers (Scott Wilson), the reformed alcoholic and former dog thief who has become a friend to Marty and his family. When Judd is accused of murdering a man he had a bar fight with, the entire town turns against him, believing he is guilty of the crime. However, Marty is convinced of Judd's innocence and decides to help him clear his name.
Marty and his friend David Howard (Gerald McRaney) begin searching the dense woods surrounding their small town for clues to the real killer's identity. They also discover evidence that suggests the victim was involved in illegal poaching, which adds another twist to the case. As they get closer to the truth, Judd becomes increasingly nervous, leading Marty to wonder if his friend is hiding something.
Meanwhile, Marty also has to deal with the arrival of a new neighbor, Samantha Wallace (Taylor Momsen), who becomes a love interest for him. At the same time, he continues to bond with his loyal dog Shiloh, who helps Marty in his search for the real killer.
Saving Shiloh combines drama, suspense, and family-friendly entertainment, as well as some heartwarming moments that will appeal to audiences of all ages. The film is directed by Sandy Tung and based on the novel by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor.
