One day, Tiger discovers a brochure for a robot factory and believes that his mother can be saved by upgrading her to a new model. He sets out on a mission to earn money to buy a new robot for his mother by doing odd jobs and selling items around the neighborhood. Meanwhile, Cao Yi faces challenges at work when her boss forces her to cover a story about a beauty pageant instead of the more meaningful article she had planned. She also struggles with her ex-husband's new girlfriend and his insistence on taking Tiger on a trip to Korea. As the heatwave continues, tensions rise and the relationship between mother and son becomes strained. However, Tiger's determination to save his mother pushes them to confront their problems and work together to find a solution. With the help of a passionate robot engineer (Joe Odagiri), they embark on an adventure that leads to unexpected discoveries and a newfound appreciation for each other.
