Savage Sam is a 1963 Disney movie directed by Norman Tokar. It is a sequel to the popular 1957 film Old Yeller, based on the novel by Fred Gipson.

The story picks up a few years after the events of Old Yeller, with the Coates family living on their ranch in Texas. Travis (Tommy Kirk) and his younger brother Arliss (Kevin Corcoran) are now teenagers, and they have a new dog named Sam, who is the son of Old Yeller.

One day, while out on a hunting trip, Travis, Arliss, and their friend Lisbeth (Marta Kristen) are captured by a group of Apaches. The children are taken to a remote mountain hideaway, where they must use their wits and resourcefulness to stay alive.

Meanwhile, Sam takes it upon himself to track down his master and his friends. Along the way, he faces various challenges, including encounters with a wild bull and a pack of wolves. With the help of a friendly Mexican man named Fogarty (Carlos Rivas), Sam eventually locates the children's whereabouts and sets out to rescue them.

The movie features several exciting action sequences, including a dramatic horseback chase and a climactic showdown between the Apache warriors and the Coates family. With its themes of loyalty, courage, and perseverance, Savage Sam is a memorable adventure film that will appeal to audiences of all ages.
