Savage Salvation is a gritty and intense action-thriller film directed by Michael Lawrence and starring Mark Wahlberg as Shelby John, a man who has just gotten engaged to his long-time love, Ruby Red (played by Anna Kendrick). Shelby and Ruby have both struggled with addiction in the past, but they are determined to turn their lives around and start anew.
However, their plans are shattered when Shelby finds Ruby dead on their porch, the victim of a drug overdose. Consumed by grief and rage, Shelby sets out on a mission of revenge against those responsible for supplying Ruby with drugs. As his quest for vengeance continues, Shelby becomes increasingly unhinged and unpredictable, putting the entire town at risk. Meanwhile, Sheriff Church (played by John Goodman) is determined to stop Shelby before he can cause more harm, but he finds himself up against a formidable opponent.
