Salsa is a 1988 romantic drama film directed by Boaz Davidson and starring Robby Rosa, Rodney Harvey, and Angela Alvarado. The film tells the story of Rico, a Puerto Rican mechanic who dreams of becoming a salsa dancer. Rico is talented and confident on the dance floor and is convinced that he is destined to win the title of the Salsa king at the La Luna nightclub's upcoming competition. However, he also struggles with jealousy and pursues relationships with multiple women, including his on-and-off girlfriend Vicki and her friend Lola.
