Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language romantic thriller film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. It is the sequel to the 2011 film Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster. The film features an ensemble cast including Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Irrfan Khan, and Soha Ali Khan.
The story of the film revolves around Aditya Pratap Singh (Jimmy Sheirgill), the Saheb of Ranjgarh estate, who is left paralyzed after being shot by his own wife Madhavi Devi (Mahie Gill). The film begins with his return from London after a failed attempt at regaining mobility. On returning home, he discovers that Madhavi has become an MLA and is using her power to control the estate. Meanwhile, Indarjeet Singh (Irrfan Khan), a ragged prince, decides to take up the fight against Aditya Pratap to restore his family's pride and reputation that was destroyed by Aditya's ancestors.
Ranjana (Soha Ali Khan), Birendra's daughter, is an ambitious girl who falls in love with Indarjeet Singh. Aditya, who falls for Ranjana, forces Birendra to agree to their marriage. In the midst of all this, Aditya's nephew Vikram (Arjun Rampal) enters the game as the third player. He is a gangster who has been released from jail and is now looking to take over the estate. What follows is a game of deceit, betrayal, and power as everyone tries to outwit one another.
Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns received critical acclaim for its storyline, performances, and direction. The film was a commercial success and was followed by a third installment in 2018 titled Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3.
