In Rumble in the Bronx, Keong (played by Jackie Chan) arrives in New York and is thrilled to be visiting America for the first time. He is excited to see his uncle, who runs a grocery store in the Bronx. However, he quickly realizes that the neighborhood is dangerous and he needs to be on the lookout for trouble.
One day, Keong befriends a neighborhood kid named Danny, who is fascinated by Keong's martial arts skills. One evening, some thugs try to rob the grocery store, and Keong fights them off. The thugs are part of a local gang, and they become angry when Keong stands up to them.
Meanwhile, a gang of diamond thieves is operating in the city, and the petty thug who tried to rob Uncle's store gets caught up in their scheme. The gang's leader, Tony, is ruthless and will stop at nothing to get his hands on the diamonds.
Keong finds himself in the middle of the conflict, and he must use his martial arts skills to protect his friends and family from the dangerous criminals. Along the way, he enlists Danny's help and together, they take on the gang in an epic showdown.
Rumble in the Bronx is known for its thrilling action sequences and impressive martial arts stunts, which are all performed by Jackie Chan himself. The movie was a surprise hit in the United States, and it helped to introduce Chan to a wider audience outside of Asia.
