Rumble is an upcoming American animated sports comedy film directed by Hamish Grieve. The film is set in a futuristic world where monsters reign supreme and monster wrestling is the most popular sport around. In this world, monsters are trained and treated like superstar athletes, with the biggest and strongest fighting for titles and glory.
The film follows Winnie (voiced by Geraldine Viswanathan), a young girl who dreams of following in her father's footsteps as a monster coach. Despite her father's legacy as a champion monster coach, Winnie has not achieved the same level of success and struggles to convince others of her talent.
Winnie's luck changes when she discovers a loveable, underdog monster named Steve (voiced by Will Arnett) who she believes has the potential to become a champion wrestler. Against all odds and competing against the toughest monsters around, Winnie and Steve team up to take on the big leagues and prove that anything is possible if you believe in yourself.
In addition to Viswanathan and Arnett, Rumble features an all-star cast including Terry Crews, Tony Danza, and Ben Schwartz. The film is produced by Paramount Pictures and Reel FX Creative Studios and is set to be released in 2022.
