Rugrats Go Wild is a crossover animated film between the television series Rugrats and The Wild Thornberrys. It was released in 2003 and directed by Norton Virgien and John Eng.

The film starts with the Pickles family, including Tommy, Angelica, Chuckie, Phil, and Lil, going on a cruise ship vacation. While on the ship, they hear about a hidden underwater paradise called "Shell Island." Tommy becomes determined to find the island, but things take a turn for the worse when the ship capsizes during a storm, causing the babies and their families to wash up on a deserted island.

As they explore the island and try to survive, they meet the Thornberry family, including Eliza, Nigel, and Donnie. The Thornberrys are wildlife documentary filmmakers, and they are on the island to film a documentary about a family of orangutans.

At first, the Rugrats and the Thornberrys are at odds with each other, with Tommy and Angelica especially having difficulty adjusting to the rough outdoor life. Meanwhile, the parents of both families try to find a way off the island and back to civilization.

However, things get even more complicated when the Rugrats and Thornberrys discover that a greedy poacher named Sloan has also landed on the island and is determined to capture the orangutans for profit. The two families join forces to stop Sloan and protect the island's wildlife.

Throughout the movie, the characters navigate dangerous situations, face their fears, and learn valuable life lessons about friendship and the importance of protecting the environment. The film's soundtrack features original songs by popular artists such as Baha Men, Pink, and Smash Mouth.
