Rudy! A Documusical is a satirical look at the life and career of former New York City Mayor and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani. The film chronicles Giuliani's rise to fame as a crime-busting mayor in the 1990s, his failed run for president in 2008, and his role as President Trump's personal attorney.
Through interviews with Giuliani himself, as well as prominent figures from the worlds of politics and entertainment, the film delves into the motivations and tactics of this complex and controversial figure.
At its heart, however, Rudy! A Documusical is a comedy, employing music, dance, and sketch comedy to skewer Giuliani's many missteps and blunders. From his disastrous press conferences as Trump's lawyer to his infamous appearance in Borat 2, no aspect of Giuliani's public life is spared in this irreverent and hilarious documentary.
Ultimately, Rudy! A Documusical paints a portrait of a man who began his career as a hero, but ended it as a laughingstock, forever associated with the surreal image of Four Seasons Total Landscaping.
