Shining Nose Saves Christmas: Rudolph's Heroic Journey

Animation,Family,TV Movie  Japan,United States of America

In the beginning, we see Rudolph as a young fawn with a unique red and glowing nose. His parents are worried about him being an outcast, and they urge him to cover his nose up. Rudolph tries to join in with the other young reindeer during a game of "reindeer games," but due to his glowing nose, he is laughed at and excluded. This makes Rudolph feel even more upset and rejected.

Meanwhile, we are introduced to Hermey the Elf, who is not interested in making toys like the other elves. Instead, he dreams of becoming a dentist. But the other elves mock him and don't support his dream. Hermey decides to leave and ends up meeting Rudolph in their journey.

They soon find themselves pursued by the Abominable Snowman, a fierce creature that wants to eat them. Yukon Cornelius, a skilled prospector, helps them escape the Abominable Snowman, and they travel to the Island of Misfit Toys, where they meet other toys that have been rejected by children because they don't fit the norm. Together they vow to find a way to be loved by children and be useful again.

Rudolph decides to seek help from Santa Claus, but when they reach the North Pole, they discover that a thick fog is preventing Santa's sleigh from taking off. Rudolph offers to guide Santa's sleigh, using his bright nose as a light to cut through the fog. Santa is impressed by Rudolph's bravery and uniqueness and promises to help the misfit toys.

As Santa delivers presents, he also picks up the misfit toys, bringing joy and happiness to the children who receive them. Rudolph, Hermey, and Yukon Cornelius all end up with a happy ending, with Rudolph finally being accepted by the other reindeer for his uniqueness. The film ends with the iconic song "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" playing as the credits roll.
