Kelly (played by Cindy Busby) is a hard-working and ambitious young woman living in Montana. She is pursuing her PhD in history and is eager to complete her dissertation. Kelly's father Hank (played by James Brolin) is a rancher who has worked hard his entire life to provide for his family.
One day, they receive a letter notifying them that Hank has inherited an estate in a faraway land. Kelly and her father decide to travel to the country to investigate and see what the estate is like.
