Roped is a romantic drama movie directed by Shaun Piccinino. The story revolves around a talented rodeo cowboy, Colton Burtenshaw, who travels around the country competing in various rodeo events with his buddies. They eventually end up in a small town in Montana, where Colton meets Tracy Peterson, the daughter of the town's most influential and tough-minded councilman.
Tracy is initially cautious and unimpressed with Colton's lifestyle and the high-risk nature of the rodeo. However, despite this, a bond begins to form between them as Colton helps Tracy to rediscover her love for horses and rodeo.
As Tracy and Colton's romance deepens, they begin to face opposition from her father, who disapproves of Colton's lifestyle and intentions towards his daughter. Tracy herself is torn between her loyalty to her father and her feelings for Colton.
As the rodeo season comes to an end, Colton must decide whether to continue with the rodeo lifestyle or stay in Montana with Tracy. Meanwhile, Tracy has to confront her father and his expectations for her future.
