Rogue River is a 2012 horror film directed by Jourdan McClure and starring Michelle Page, Bill Moseley, and Lucinda Jenney. The story follows Mara, a young woman who is on a road trip to scatter her father's ashes in the Rogue River wilderness. After her car disappears, she accepts the offer of a ride from Jon, who takes her to his cabin in the woods.

Once there, Jon reveals his true intentions, and Mara becomes trapped in a chilling game of torture and survival. The film is filled with disturbing imagery, including graphic violence, bloody torture, and psychological horror. It explores themes of trust, betrayal, and the dark nature of human beings.

The acting in Rogue River is excellent, particularly Michelle Page's portrayal of Mara, who goes from a naive and hopeful young woman to a battered and broken victim. Bill Moseley is also impressive as Jon, portraying a calm and collected psychopath who is always one step ahead of his prey.

Rogue River is not for the faint of heart, as it contains some of the most intense and gruesome scenes in horror movie history. However, it is also a well-crafted and thought-provoking film that explores the depths of the human psyche.
