Rockstar is a Hindi language romantic drama film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri, and directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film follows Janardan "Jordan" Jakhar, an aspiring musician from Delhi who wants to achieve fame and win the heart of Heer Kaul, a college student about to be married.

However, Jordan's success comes at a cost as he becomes increasingly self-destructive. He turns to drugs and alcohol and becomes estranged from his family and friends. Despite his popularity, he still longs for Heer and feels incomplete without her.
