The movie Rocket Hunter is based on the true story of US pilot Jess Barker and his brother, bombardier Jack Barker, during World War II. When the V-2 rocket attacks on London cause devastation and fear, Jess volunteers to fly a captured German Messerschmitt 109 fighter plane to gather intelligence and target the launch sites of the rockets.
Despite the potential dangers and risks, Jess and Jack embark on this dangerous mission, facing challenges and obstacles along the way. Along with two British intelligence officers, they fly through the heart of enemy territory, evading German fighters and anti-aircraft fire.
Throughout the film, the audience is taken through the brothers' journey from their early years as teenagers with a passion for flying, through their training and deployment in the army air forces, and up until the events of the mission.
Rocket Hunter showcases the bravery, determination, and sacrifice of the Allied forces during World War II, particularly those of the American soldiers who embarked on perilous missions to ensure the safety and freedom of their allies and the world.
