Rock-a-Bye Baby is a romantic comedy movie released in 1958. The film stars Jerry Lewis as Clayton Poole, an average television repairman who finds himself in charge of taking care of three newborn triplets. The triplets belong to his former hometown sweetheart, Carla Naples (Marilyn Maxwell), who is now a famous movie star.
Carla is worried that her career will suffer if she is seen with the babies, so she asks Clayton to care for them secretly. Despite his lack of experience, Clayton agrees to take on the task and quickly finds himself struggling to keep up with the demands of caring for three babies.
As the days go by, Clayton learns to love the babies and becomes attached to them. However, he soon finds himself in trouble when Carla's agents find out about the triplets and try to take them away. Clayton must find a way to keep the babies and protect Carla's career at the same time.
Along the way, Clayton gets caught up in a romantic triangle with Carla and her fiancé, a wealthy businessman played by Salvatore Baccaloni. In the end, Clayton manages to save the day, keep the triplets, and win Carla's heart.
The film was directed by Frank Tashlin and produced by Hal B. Wallis. It was a box office hit and is considered one of Jerry Lewis's most popular movies.
