Rock Dog 3: Battle the Beat revolves around Bodi, a Tibetan Mastiff who previously went on a world tour with his rock band, but now returns to his village. There, Bodi discovers that his beloved rock music has been forgotten by the new generation of would-be musicians, who are more interested in pop and electronic music.
Bodi's quest to inspire a new generation of rock musicians leads him to enter the competition show, "Battle the Beat." To win, he has to face off against fierce rivals who are determined to win, including a talented pop star named Ash and a up-and-coming DJ duo.
As Bodi progresses through the competition, he becomes an overnight sensation, but this newfound fame comes with a price. He starts to lose sight of his original goal, to inspire younger musicians, and instead focuses on his own success. Bodi's bandmates and best friend, Darma, warn him about the dangers of becoming too self-absorbed, but Bodi struggles to reconcile his desire for fame with his desire to create a positive impact on the next generation.
In the end, Bodi learns that success is not just about personal achievement, but also about inspiring others and making a difference in their lives. With this new understanding, he rallys his band to perform a final song that ignites a new wave of rock music in the hearts of young musicians everywhere.
