Shane Tanner is a former marine who has just returned to his hometown in Louisiana after serving in Iraq. He learns that his uncle Nate Tanner, who owns The Black Pelican bar, is in trouble after refusing to sell his bar to a group of drug dealers led by Wild Bill. Wild Bill and his men have been terrorizing the town and have already taken over several businesses, including the town's casino.

Shane finds his uncle badly beaten and hospitalized, and he swears to protect him and his bar from Wild Bill and his cohorts. Shane teams up with Beau Hampton, a local school teacher who is a regular at The Black Pelican, and who is also being harassed by Wild Bill and his gang.

Together, Shane and Beau form a plan to take down Wild Bill and his men. They recruit some of the bar's patrons, including a bouncer named Biggie and a waitress named Nicki, to help them out. They also seek advice from Dalton, Shane's father and a legendary cooler, who provides them with some valuable insights into dealing with dangerous people.

The final showdown between Shane, Beau, and their allies and Wild Bill and his men takes place at The Black Pelican. It is a brutal and violent fight, with both sides refusing to back down. In the end, Shane and his team emerge victorious, with Wild Bill and his men arrested and brought to justice.
