Ringu 2 is a Japanese horror film that serves as a sequel to the immensely popular Ringu movie. The story picks up right after the events of the first film, with Mai Takano still reeling from the mysterious death of her boyfriend, Reiko. One day, she receives a call from Reiko's ex-husband, Ryuji, who informs her that their son, Yoichi, has inherited psychic abilities similar to those of Sadako.
