Carly, a successful blogger, returns to her hometown for a friend's wedding and runs into her college crush, Jason. While she is thrilled to see him again, Carly feels insecure about her life choices and career, especially compared to Jason's successful career as a doctor. However, things take an unexpected turn when she meets Nick, a charming and carefree guy who becomes her new friend.
As Carly tries to impress Jason with her achievements, Nick advises her to be herself and focus on what makes her happy instead of trying to impress someone else. They embark on a fun friendship, doing things Carly never thought she would enjoy. Carly discovers herself, her values, and what truly matters to her.
As Carly and Nick spend time together, their growing intimacy makes Carly realize that Nick may be the perfect match for her. However, as Carly becomes more confident and begins to pursue Nick, she discovers that Jason may have lingering feelings for her.
With time running out, Carly must choose between Jason, who represents her past, and Nick, who represents her future. After much soul-searching, Carly decides to take a chance on love and chooses Nick, realizing that he was always Right in Front of Me.
