Right at Your Door is a 2006 apocalyptic thriller film directed by Chris Gorak. The movie is set in Los Angeles and starts with Brad (played by Rory Cochrane), a struggling musician, and his wife Lexi (played by Mary McCormack), who is about to start a career in advertising. Brad's laziness and attitude causes an argument and Lexi, who is running late, leaves the house without him.
Suddenly, a series of explosions rock the city of Los Angeles and it is revealed that they were caused by terrorist attacks that released a toxic cloud spread from an explosive dirty bomb. The government orders people to shelter in place and Brad seals all the entry points of his house with duct tape to prevent the toxic air from getting inside. Soon, he hears a knock on the door and finds out that his wife has returned home, sick and covered in the toxic cloud.
As they wait for help in their sealed house, Brad struggles to keep the toxic air out and provide for both of them, uncertain if they will survive the deadly situation. The movie then explores the couple's relationship as they confront the end of the world.
Right at Your Door is a suspenseful and terrifying thriller that follows the couple as they try to survive the aftermath of the terrorist attack and deal with the harrowing moral dilemma of whether to let someone else into their home. It explores the themes of trust, survival, and the fragility of both human life and relationships in the face of unexpected danger.
