The film goes into further detail about the challenges that John Brower faced in putting together the Toronto Rock n Roll Revival in 1969. He struggled to secure funding and to convince big-name acts to perform, but he eventually managed to book a lineup that included Chuck Berry, Alice Cooper, and Little Richard.
As the day of the festival approached, tensions were high and everything seemed to be going wrong. The stage was not set up properly, the sound system was faulty, and there were concerns about security and crowd control. To make matters worse, a massive thunderstorm swept through the area just as the concert was about to begin.
Despite all of these obstacles, the show went on. The performers gave it their all, but it was John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band who provided the most unforgettable moment of the day. They took the stage late in the evening and played a blistering set that included classics like "Blue Suede Shoes" and "Money (That's What I Want)." Lennon was in top form, and the crowd went wild.
After the concert, Lennon was interviewed by a reporter and asked about rumors that the Beatles were breaking up. He confirmed the news, and the announcement sent shockwaves through the music world. The film ends with footage of the crowd leaving the stadium, still buzzing from the amazing performances they had just witnessed.
