Reversion is a sci-fi thriller centered around a man named Dylan (played by Aja Naomi King) who wakes up with no memory of the past few days, only to find out that she is being held hostage by an escaped convict named Daniel (played by Colm Feore). Daniel claims to be a quantum physicist who has figured out how to clone himself, and that a clone of himself assassinated the President of the United States.
As Dylan tries to make sense of her situation and escape from her captor, Daniel tells her the story of how he was recruited by a secretive government agency to work on their cloning program. He claims that he and his team perfected the technology to the point where they could create a fully functional clone of a person within a matter of days. However, the agency had sinister intentions, and once they realized the true potential of their creation, they turned on Daniel and his team and tried to kill them all.
Daniel managed to escape, but not before the agency had already cloned him and his two colleagues. He believes that the clone of himself that assassinated the President was created by the agency as part of a larger conspiracy. The agency is now after him and his remaining colleague, and Daniel is desperate to get Dylan to believe him and help him prove his innocence.
As the two of them race against time to uncover the truth and evade the agency's agents, they start to uncover evidence that supports Daniel's claims.
