The movie starts with a college student named Cody, who is struggling to pay for his tuition fees. To make some quick money, he creates a new drug called "Z" that is initially meant to be a hallucinogen.
However, after experimenting with the drug, Cody realizes that "Z" has the power to resurrect the dead. He decides to sell it to his classmates at a Halloween rave, hoping to make a fortune.
At the rave, the drug accidentally gets into the hands of a group of zombies who were buried on campus grounds. The zombies start to emerge from their graves and quickly infect those in attendance at the rave.
Cody and his friends try to stop the outbreak, but they soon realize they're in over their heads. The zombies are fast, strong and seemingly invincible. They prove to be an unstoppable force that will stop at nothing to spread the virus further.
As the zombie outbreak spreads, Cody and his friends must find a way to stop it before it's too late. They try different methods to stop the zombies, but it all seems hopeless until they discover the cure.
Despite the chaos and carnage, Cody and his friends finally find a way to stop the outbreak, and the zombies are defeated. However, the damage has been done, and now the survivors must deal with the aftermath. The movie ends with Cody realizing the grave consequences of his actions, and the danger of playing with forces that are beyond his control.
