Restless is a dramatic thriller film directed by Amor Hakkar. The story follows a police officer named David who is faced with a dilemma after accidentally killing a young man during a routine patrol. Fearing the repercussions, he decides to cover up the incident by tampering with the evidence and manipulating the witnesses. However, his actions begin to haunt him when a mysterious person begins to send him threatening messages and videos of the incident.
As David's life spirals out of control, he struggles to keep his secret hidden while trying to identify the person who is blackmailing him. His relationships with his wife, son, and colleagues become strained as his paranoia and guilt become more and more intense. Along the way, he encounters several characters that challenge his moral compass and test his loyalty.
As the tension builds, David must confront his dark past and come to terms with his actions. The film is a gripping tale of corruption, redemption, and the consequences of one's choices. It stars Augustin Legrand, Hafsia Herzi, and Abdelhafid Metalsi.
