Resistance Movement is a historical drama film directed by Michael Landon Jr. The movie is based on the true story of the Helmuth Hubener group, a trio of teenage boys who dared to speak the truth about the Nazi regime despite the consequences.

Set in the early 1940s in Hamburg, Germany, the movie follows the lives of Helmuth, his best friend Rudi Wobbe, and Hans Scholl, a member of the White Rose resistance movement. Helmuth, a devout Mormon, becomes increasingly disillusioned with the Nazi propaganda and secretly listens to radio broadcasts from the BBC. He is shocked by the atrocities committed by the Nazis and decides to take action.

Together with Rudi and Hans, he starts distributing anti-Nazi flyers and writing a resistance newspaper. They risk their lives to spread the truth, knowing that they could be arrested and executed at any moment. Soon, they are caught by the Gestapo, and their lives take a tragic turn.

The movie portrays the courage and resilience of these young men in the face of evil. It shows the harsh reality of life under Nazi rule, where dissent was not tolerated and speaking out against the regime was a death sentence. Resistance Movement is a poignant and powerful indictment of fascism and a tribute to those who fought against it.
