Resistance is a 2020 biographical drama film that is based on the true story of a group of Jewish Boy Scouts in France who teamed up with the French Resistance to save the lives of 10,000 orphans during World War II. The film is directed by Jonathan Jakubowicz and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Clémence Poésy, Matthias Schweighöfer, and Félix Moati.

The story follows the character of Marcel Marceau (Jesse Eisenberg), a young Jewish actor who becomes involved in the French Resistance during World War II. With the help of his Boy Scout troop, Marcel joins forces with a group of Resistance fighters to save the lives of thousands of Jewish orphans who have been left displaced and vulnerable in the wake of the Nazi occupation.

As they work to smuggle the children to safety across the border into Switzerland, Marcel and his companions must avoid detection by the Nazis and the French collaborators who would betray them at any moment. Along the way, Marcel discovers a new sense of purpose and bravery as he fights to ensure the survival of these innocent young lives.

Resistance is a powerful true story of courage and heroism in the face of unimaginable adversity, and a tribute to the courageous individuals who risked everything to resist oppression and fight for what they believed in. The film is a moving tribute to the power of human compassion and resilience in the darkest of times.
