In Resident Evil: Extinction, Alice has been on the run for years since the events of Resident Evil: Apocalypse. She's fighting for survival in the desert, where she encounters a group of survivors traveling in a convoy. The group is led by Claire Redfield, who hopes to make it to Alaska, where she believes there is safety and a chance for a new beginning.
However, Alice soon discovers that the Umbrella Corporation, the company responsible for the zombie outbreak, is still tracking her down. Dr. Isaacs, a high-ranking Umbrella official, is working on a project to create a new breed of superhumans known as "Nemesis" using Alice's blood. Alice and the group realize they'll have to fight for their lives against the Umbrella Corporation and the hordes of zombies that stand in their way.
As the caravan makes its way across the desert, they face increasingly dangerous challenges and encounter new types of mutants created by the Umbrella Corporation. Alice discovers that she has developed new abilities as a result of the experiments performed on her by the corporation, making her an even greater threat to their plans.
Before reaching Alaska, the group must face a final showdown with Dr. Isaacs and the Umbrella Corporation. With Alice's help, they fight to take down their enemies, but not everyone makes it out alive. In the end, Alice and a small group of survivors continue on their journey towards Alaska, with the hope of finding a new home in a world overrun by zombies and controlled by a corrupt corporation.
