After the events of Resident Evil: Extinction, Alice (Milla Jovovich) continues on her mission to find survivors and take down the Umbrella Corporation. She meets up with a group of survivors in Alaska and learns about a potential safe haven in Los Angeles, where a group of people claims to have found a way to survive the virus outbreak.
Alice, along with her new allies including Claire Redfield (Ali Larter), Chris Redfield (Wentworth Miller), Luther West (Boris Kodjoe), and newcomer to the series K-Mart (Spencer Locke), travel to Los Angeles in search of this safe haven. However, they soon discover that the city is overrun by thousands of Undead.
As they make their way through the city, Alice and her team encounter an Umbrella facility headed by Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts), who reveals that he has taken control of the corporation and plans to use Alice to create a new race of superhumans. Wesker injects Alice with a serum that gives her superhuman abilities, but also increases her vulnerability to the virus.
Alice and her comrades find themselves caught in a deadly trap. They must fight their way through hordes of Undead and take down Wesker and the Umbrella Corporation in order to save humanity from extinction. With intense action sequences, stunning visual effects, and plenty of twists and turns, Resident Evil: Afterlife is a thrilling addition to the Resident Evil franchise.
