Artemis is a rebellious teenager who feels suffocated by her strict parents' rules and expectations. In an act of rebellion, she decides to throw a party at their lake house without their permission. She invites her closest friends and acquaintances, not realizing the consequences of her actions.
As the night progresses, the party gets out of control. Alcohol is consumed in excess, drugs are taken, and a fight breaks out between two guests. Artemis is unable to control the chaos, and the situation quickly spirals out of hand.
Unbeknownst to the partygoers, Artemis' parents had unexpectedly returned to the lake house earlier that day. They arrive home to find their house trashed, and their daughter passed out drunk on the floor. The police are called, and all of the underage guests are taken into custody.
In the aftermath of the party, Artemis faces the repercussions of her reckless decision. Her parents are furious with her, and her reputation is tarnished. She must come to terms with the consequences of her actions and try to rebuild the trust she has broken with her family.
