Red Riding: In the Year of Our Lord 1980 is a crime thriller film that forms a part of the Red Riding film trilogy. It is based on David Peace's series of novels, known as the Red Riding Quartet.
The film is set in England in the year 1980, six years after the notorious Yorkshire Ripper had begun his serial killings in the country.
