Red Mountain is a 1951 Western film directed by William Dieterle and starring Alan Ladd and Lizabeth Scott. The film tells the story of Brett Sherwood (Alan Ladd), a former Confederate captain who travels to Colorado to join a band of Southern mercenaries led by Ben Lassiter (John Ireland). Sherwood is looking for redemption and a chance to start a new life away from the war-torn South.
