The movie Red Letter Day follows the story of Melanie, a recently divorced mother who moves to Aspen Ridge with her two teenage children, Madison and Timothy. The family struggles to adjust to their new life, but things take a deadly turn when they receive a red letter in the mail instructing them to kill their neighbor, a woman who is supposedly having an affair with Melanie's ex-husband.

Initially, the family is hesitant to act on the instructions, but as more red letters arrive and the threat of violence escalates, they begin to consider taking matters into their own hands. However, they soon realize that they are not the only ones receiving these letters, as their neighbors and other members of the community receive similar messages.

As tensions rise and paranoia sets in, the family must navigate a complex web of relationships and motives to determine who is behind the letters and how to stop them before it's too late. Along the way, they discover shocking revelations about their neighbors and themselves, forcing them to confront their own ethical and moral boundaries.
