Red Hill is an Australian Western-style thriller film released in 2010. The film centers around young police officer Shane Cooper as he relocates to the small town of Red Hill with his pregnant wife. On his first day on the job, news of a prison break reaches the town, featuring convicted murderer Jimmy Conway, who has escaped from prison and is heading towards Red Hill to seek his revenge on those who put him behind bars.

Shane is assigned to accompany Old Bill and the other officers to track down Conway. But it soon becomes clear that things are not as they seem, and that the bickering and distrust between the local officers could cause them more trouble than the escaped prisoner. As the manhunt picks up pace, Shane finds himself in the middle of a bloody confrontation that quickly spirals out of control.

The film was directed and written by Patrick Hughes and stars Ryan Kwanten as Shane Cooper, Steve Bisley as Old Bill, and Tom E. Lewis as Jimmy Conway. The film was praised for its tense and suspenseful atmosphere, combined with its Western-style cinematography and soundtrack. It received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising its unique take on the Western genre while others criticized its slow pacing and lack of character development.
