Recovery is a horror-thriller movie that follows a group of patients undergoing treatment for heroin addiction at a secluded rehab facility in the wilderness. The movie begins with a new patient, Harley, arriving at the center where he is greeted by the center's staff - Nurse Beverly, Dr. Mike, and security guard, Martin.
As the patients begin their road to recovery, someone begins killing them off one by one. The killer's identity and motive remain a mystery, and tensions start to rise among the staff and patients. The characters are also haunted by their past traumas, which they must confront as they fight for survival.
As the body count rises, the remaining staff and patients band together to try and uncover the identity of the killer and find a way to escape. But with suspicions running high, they struggle to trust each other, and the killer seems to always be one step ahead.
The movie is a suspenseful and harrowing tale of survival, addiction, and mental illness. It packs plenty of twists and turns, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats until the very end. Recovery is directed by John Liang and stars Stephanie Pearson, Hope Quattrocki, and Liz Fenning.
