Recep İvedik 2

Comedy  Turkey

Recep İvedik 2 is a Turkish comedy film directed by Togan Gökbakar and released in 2009. The movie is a sequel to the 2008 film Recep İvedik and follows the adventures of the titular character Recep (played by Şahan Gökbakar) as he starts a new job and tries to find a suitable wife for his ailing grandmother.

The movie opens with Recep losing his job as a football coach and deciding to apply for a new job as a driving instructor. He gets the job but soon realizes that he is not very good at it and in fact, is causing more accidents than preventing them. Despite this, Recep manages to get through his training and becomes a certified driving instructor.

Meanwhile, Recep's grandmother is sick and wants to see her grandson get married before she dies. Recep reluctantly agrees but is quickly overwhelmed by the task of finding a wife. He tries various strategies to meet women, including attending a speed dating event, visiting a marriage agency, and joining an online dating site.

Throughout the movie, Recep finds himself in a number of humorous situations, including being mistaken for a serial killer, getting involved in a car chase with the police, and getting trapped in a sauna. Eventually, he comes across a potential bride and her family, but must compete with her ex-boyfriend who is also vying for her attention.

In the end, Recep manages to win over the girl and marry her in a lavish wedding ceremony. His grandmother is delighted and finally passes away in peace. The movie ends with Recep and his new wife driving off into the sunset in a car that he had previously crashed during his driving lessons.
