The movie Really? is a Chinese comedy-action film that follows the wacky adventures of Xia Zhi, played by famous comedian Xiao Shenyang. Xia Zhi is a perpetual liar who loves to bluff, and his girlfriend Xiao Xue, played by Ivy Chen, owns a small restaurant where he often hangs out.
One day, while Xia Zhi is at the restaurant, he sees a group of men passing by and immediately claims that he saw a kidnapping in progress. Little does he know, one of the criminals overhears him and mistakes him for an accomplice who knows about their stolen jewelry.
The criminal boss, played by Andrew Lien, orders his men to kill Xia Zhi before he can expose their secret. However, despite several attempts on his life, Xia Zhi manages to avoid death and even ends up crossing paths with the police investigating the kidnapping case.
As the police begin to suspect him of being involved in the crime, Xia Zhi realizes that he needs to prove his innocence and convince them that his life is in danger. With the help of his girlfriend Xiao Xue and some hilarious schemes, Xia Zhi sets out to catch the real criminals and clear his name.
The movie is full of over-the-top action sequences, slapstick comedy, and a cast of zany characters that keep the audience laughing from start to finish. Xiao Shenyang's performance as the bumbling yet lovable Xia Zhi is particularly memorable and has made Really? a popular film in China and beyond.
