Rangasthalam is a Telugu-language action-drama film directed by Sukumar and starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles. The film is set in the village of Rangasthalam in the 1980s and depicts the story of two brothers, Chitti Babu (played by Ram Charan) and Kumar Babu (played by Aadhi Pinisetty).
The village of Rangasthalam is ruled by a corrupt president, Phanindra Bhupathi (played by Jagapathi Babu), who has been in power for 30 years. Kumar Babu, who has been living in the city, returns to the village to contest in the upcoming panchayat elections against Phanindra Bhupathi. Chitti Babu, who is hearing-impaired, joins his brother's campaign and helps him in his efforts to bring about change in the village.
However, things take a turn for the worse when Kumar Babu is brutally murdered by Phanindra Bhupathi's men. Chitti Babu, now determined to avenge his brother's death, begins to investigate the incident and collects evidence against the corrupt president.
As Chitti Babu gets closer to the truth, he realizes that his own life is in danger and that he must fight for justice before it's too late. The film reaches its climax when Chitti Babu confronts Phanindra Bhupathi and his men in a violent showdown.
Rangasthalam received critical acclaim for its performances, direction, and screenplay. The film was also a commercial success, grossing over ₹2.16 billion at the box office.
