Meanwhile, Kadee Worth (Keke Palmer) is constantly controlled and manipulated by her father, Reginald Worth (Isaiah Mustafa), a music mogul who only cares about profit and commercial success.

After Charlie's stepbrothers deface his lyrics and steal his song, he accidentally bumps into Kadee and ends up singing for her. In an attempt to hide her true identity, Kadee pretends to be a hairstylist and invites Charlie to Reginald's mansion for a charity event. However, things take a complicated turn when Kadee's manager, Finn (Avan Jogia), and Arthur recognize Charlie and try to expose his true identity.

As Charlie and Kadee grow closer, they collaborate on a song together and film a music video that goes viral. However, Reginald is furious and tries to stop them from working together, realizing that Charlie's authenticity threatens his business. Meanwhile, Lloyde and Charlie's stepsister, Martha (Millie Davis), develop a friendship, and she helps him overcome his fear of performing in public.

In the climax of the film, Kadee confronts her father and tells him that she wants to create music that reflects her own personality and experiences. Charlie and Kadee finally perform their song together at a concert, and their passion and chemistry inspire the audience. In the end, Charlie's dream of becoming a singer comes true, and he and Kadee share a romantic moment onstage.

Overall, Rags is a heartwarming and uplifting film that celebrates the power of music and the importance of being true to oneself. The characters are well-developed and relatable, and the music and dancing are engaging and entertaining.
