Queen of Outer Space is a 1958 science fiction film directed by Edward Bernds and starring Zsa Zsa Gabor as Queen Yllana. The film opens with a rocket ship carrying four American astronauts heading to Venus, but they crash-land on the planet and discover it is inhabited only by women. The women are ruled by Queen Yllana, who rules with an iron fist and has all the men of Venus killed.

The astronauts, led by Captain Patterson (Eric Fleming), are taken captive by Yllana's minions and brought before the Queen. Yllana is initially hostile towards the men, but she becomes intrigued by Captain Patterson and decides to spare his life while keeping the others as hostages. Yllana shows the captain around her palace and demonstrates the advanced technology of her civilization, which includes ray guns, force fields, and anti-gravity boots.

Captain Patterson discovers that Yllana's hatred of men stems from a traumatic event in her past, and he tries to convince her to live in peace with the men of Earth. However, Yllana is too consumed by her desire for revenge and plots to destroy the Earth with her ultimate weapon, the "Nuclear Annihilator."

The astronauts manage to escape with the help of Talleah (Laurie Mitchell), a sympathetic Venusian who is in love with one of the astronauts. They discover that the Venusians have a secret underground base and launch an attack on Yllana's palace, culminating in a final showdown between the Queen and the Earthmen.

In the end, Yllana is defeated and the astronauts return to Earth, but not before Captain Patterson shares a kiss with Talleah, hinting at a potential romance between the two species. Queen of Outer Space is a campy, fun-filled adventure that embraces the sci-fi tropes of its time and features memorable performances from Gabor and Mitchell.
