"Quarantine" is a found-footage horror film directed by John Erick Dowdle and stars Jennifer Carpenter as Angela Vidal, a young television reporter who is filming a documentary on firefighters for a TV show. Accompanied by her cameraman, Scott (Steve Harris), and a team of firefighters, she is called to an apartment building in Los Angeles.
Once inside the building, the team discovers that a mysterious virus has been spreading, turning the residents into violent, bloodthirsty killers. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has quarantined the building, trapping Angela, Scott, and the others inside.
As the situation gets worse, the survivors band together to try and find a way out of the building before they too become infected. But with the virus spreading quickly, they soon realize that their chances of survival are slim.
As the carnage around them escalates, the team is forced to confront their worst fears and deepest anxieties. Angela and Scott must continue filming, even as they find themselves in mortal danger. And as they go deeper into the building, they begin to unravel a sinister plot that may have caused the outbreak in the first place.
