Jack is a successful internet gambler who spends most of his time in his small apartment in New York City. After his roommate unexpectedly dies, he becomes increasingly isolated and fixated on Scarlet, a cam girl whom he has been conversing with online for quite some time.
As their online relationship deepens, Jack begins to spiral out of control, and Scarlet becomes concerned for his well-being. She tries to keep her distance, but Jack's obsession grows stronger and he decides to fly out to San Francisco to meet her.
