Puppet Master: Doktor Death is a horror film directed by David DeCoteau and written by Benjamin Carr. It is a stand-alone spin-off of Retro Puppet Master, the seventh installment in the Puppet Master franchise. The film was released in 1999 by Full Moon Features.

The movie follows a young medical student named Dr. Alexandra "Alex" Toulon (played by Petra Verkaik) who inherits a puppet named Six-Shooter from her grandfather, André Toulon. Unbeknownst to Alex, the puppet is possessed by a demon that wants to use her body as a vessel to return to the mortal world.

Alex begins to have nightmares about the demonic puppet, which leads her to seek the help of a psychic named Earl (played by Steve Welles). Earl informs Alex that she is being haunted by the evil spirit of Doktor Gerde Ernst, a Nazi scientist who was obsessed with creating life and transferring his consciousness into another body.

As Alex's nightmares become more vivid, she begins to see the puppet come to life and attack her. She realizes that the demon is using the puppet to terrorize her and is trying to possess her body. With the help of Earl and a group of psychic students, Alex must find a way to defeat the demon and save herself from a fate worse than death.

The film features appearances by several iconic Puppet Master characters, including Blade and Pinhead, as well as new puppets such as Dr. Death. It combines horror, comedy, and eroticism, making it a unique addition to the Puppet Master franchise.
