In Pulse 2: Afterlife, the story follows a group of survivors who are trying to find a safe haven from the ghostly invasion. Among them is a young girl named Justine (played by Jamie Bamber), who was separated from her father during the chaos and is now searching for him. Along the way, she meets a man named Wyatt (played by Todd Giebenhain) who becomes her protector and guide through the dangerous world of the dead.
As they travel, they encounter various other survivors, each with their own tragic stories and struggles. Together, they face brutal challenges and frightening encounters with the ghostly entities that now rule the world.
At the heart of the story is the theme of loss and grief, as the survivors struggle to come to terms with the death of their loved ones and the destruction of everything they once knew.
